Esiste un driver per stampanti Xerox per macOS 27 e Apple Silicon?
Xerox non ha mai rilasciato versioni per Apple Silicon dei driver Mac per molte delle sue stampanti più vecchie. Richiedono Rosetta, e macOS 27 segna come non compatibili i driver di stampa solo per Intel. Apple elimina Rosetta per le app in macOS 28. Questo pacchetto gratuito aggiunge driver arm64 nativi per 115 modelli Xerox, che quindi stampano su qualsiasi Mac con Apple Silicon senza Rosetta.
Perché la mia stampante Xerox dice “Il software della stampante non è compatibile con questo dispositivo”?
Il driver Xerox installato sul Mac è solo per Intel. Installa questo pacchetto, riavvia il Mac una volta, poi scollega e ricollega la stampante.
Reinstallare Rosetta risolve il problema?
A volte, e solo per ora. Reinstallando Rosetta alcuni vecchi driver tornano a funzionare dopo aver eliminato e riaggiunto la stampante. Altri restano segnati come “Software non compatibile”. Apple elimina Rosetta per le app in macOS 28, quindi il vecchio driver del produttore smetterà di nuovo di funzionare. Questo driver non ha bisogno di Rosetta.
Funziona su macOS 26 Tahoe e macOS 15 Sequoia?
Sì. Funziona su macOS 12 e successivi sui Mac con Apple Silicon, e continua a funzionare dopo l'aggiornamento a macOS 27.
La mia stampante è in Wi-Fi, o non è stata configurata automaticamente.
Installa il driver, poi apri Impostazioni di Sistema → Stampanti e scanner, clicca su Aggiungi, seleziona la stampante, scegli Usa: Seleziona software… e scegli il tuo modello che termina con “Apple Silicon”.
