Existe-t-il un pilote d’imprimante Xerox pour macOS 27 et Apple Silicon ?
Xerox n’a jamais publié de versions Apple Silicon des pilotes Mac pour beaucoup de ses anciennes imprimantes. Elles ont besoin de Rosetta, et macOS 27 marque les pilotes d’imprimante réservés à Intel comme incompatibles. Apple met fin à Rosetta pour les apps avec macOS 28. Ce paquet gratuit ajoute des pilotes arm64 natifs pour 115 modèles Xerox, qui impriment donc sur tout Mac Apple Silicon sans Rosetta.
Pourquoi mon imprimante Xerox affiche-t-elle « Le logiciel de l’imprimante n’est pas compatible avec cet appareil » ?
Le pilote Xerox installé sur le Mac ne fonctionne que sur Intel. Installez ce paquet, redémarrez le Mac une fois, puis débranchez et rebranchez l’imprimante.
Réinstaller Rosetta règle-t-il le problème ?
Parfois, et seulement pour le moment. Réinstaller Rosetta fait refonctionner certains anciens pilotes d’imprimante après avoir supprimé et ajouté de nouveau l’imprimante. D’autres restent marqués « Logiciel incompatible ». Apple met fin à Rosetta pour les apps avec macOS 28, et l’ancien pilote du fabricant s’arrêtera alors de nouveau. Ce pilote n’a pas besoin de Rosetta.
Cela fonctionne-t-il sous macOS 26 Tahoe et macOS 15 Sequoia ?
Oui. Il fonctionne à partir de macOS 12 sur les Mac Apple Silicon et continue de marcher après la mise à jour vers macOS 27.
Mon imprimante est en Wi-Fi, ou elle n’a pas été configurée automatiquement.
Installez le pilote, puis ouvrez Réglages Système → Imprimantes et scanners, cliquez sur Ajouter, sélectionnez votre imprimante, choisissez Utiliser : Sélectionner un logiciel… et prenez votre modèle qui se termine par « Apple Silicon ».
